By placing a booking you are offering to purchase a travel product on and subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. In order to contract with Naturalis Expeditions, Inc. you must be over 18 years of age and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us. Naturalis Expeditions, Inc. retains the right to refuse any booking for any reason at any time.
Naturalis Expeditions, Inc. may use third party suppliers or providers of some services and products and as such acts as agents for those. Any claim or liability resulting from those services or products is the responsibility of the supplier or provider.
Payment can be made either by Bank Transfer or Credit Card with Paypal.
Events Beyond our Control
These include: unusual, unforeseeable or unavoidable events beyond our control, the consequences of which could not be avoided even if all due care has been exercised including but not limited to war, threat of war, riot, civil disobedience or strife, government action, terrorist activity, natural or industrial disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, level of water in rivers or floods, closure of airports and may also include industrial dispute involving third parties, technical or maintenance problems or unforeseen operational decisions of air carriers such as changes of schedule. Except where otherwise expressly stated in these booking conditions we regret that we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by reason of such events beyond our control.
Under no circumstances can Naturalis Expeditions, Inc. be held responsible for weather conditions. Naturalis Expeditions, Inc. accept no responsibility for weather conditions that may affect the delivery and implementation of the itinerary.
Claims and Complains
If you have a problem during your holiday it is of the utmost importance that you immediately bring it to the attention of the relevant person (for example the hotel manager, the tour guide) who will do their best to put things right. If your complaint is not resolved, you should contact our office to advise us of the problem so that we may endeavour to resolve it. However, should a problem remain unresolved, a complaint should be made in writing within 30 days of your return home. We will not accept any liability for claims received after this period.
Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of vouchers and other travel documents at time of going to issue, however Naturalis Expeditions, Inc. can not be held responsible for typographical errors, or errors arising from unforeseen circumstances. It is your responsibility to ensure that all of the details on your travel documents are correct and to bring to our attention any error or discrepancy immediately.
Should you need to cancel your booking, you must immediately advise us via email or in writing. The date on which your notice of cancellation is received by us will determine the cancellation charge applicable.
In addition to the charges shown below many air tickets have no refund value whatsoever and, therefore, airlines may impose 100% cancellation charges.
Depending on the reason for cancellation, you may be able to reclaim these cancellation charges under the terms of any insurance policy you may have.
GENERAL CANCELLATION POLICY FOR TOUR PACKAGES WITH HOTELS:
Cancellation with more than one month notice > Cancellation fee equivalent to 35% of the total cost
Cancellation with less than one month notice > Cancellation fee equivalent to 55% of the total cost
Cancellation with less than 15 days notice > Cancellation fee equivalent to 80% of the total cost
Cancellation with less than one week notice and no show on tour date > 100% cancellation fee – No refund
If, after our confirmation invoice has been issued, you wish to change your travel arrangements in any way, for example your chosen date or accommodation, we will do our utmost to make these changes but it may not always be possible.
Where it is possible to meet your request the total holiday cost will be recalculated in accordance with any new arrangements taking into account the prevailing prices, under occupancy supplements, any cancellation fees, amendment fees or other extra charges payable and a new confirmation invoice issued. Note: Certain travel arrangements (e.g. air Tickets/Low Cost Flights) may not be changeable after a reservation has been made and any alteration request could incur a cancellation charge of up to 100% of that part of the arrangements.
